Ayurveda is the oldest science of human life and the human body, known for many thousands of years. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word derived from two roots: "Ayur" is life, "Veda" is knowledge. So, Ayurveda is the knowledge about life.

It is believed that Ayurvedic knowledge appeared in India. More than one and a half thousand years ago Ayurvedic tracts were translated into Chinese, and in the 700s Chinese doctors studied Ayurveda knowledge at the Indian Ayurveda University in Nalanda. In the early 800s, knowledge of Ayurveda was translated into Arabic.

A little over a thousand years ago, such famous healers as Avicenna and Razi Serapion, who widely cited Indian texts and applied Ayurveda knowledge in practice, became known in the West. In the sixteenth century, Paracelsus, considered to be the father of modern medicine in the West, created a doctrine largely based on the knowledge of Ayurveda.

What did Ayurveda deserve such authority? According to Ayurvedic science, health is a state of balance between the body, the mind and the consciousness, the health of the body depends on how we live and on what we eat, on our thoughts, actions, our perception of the world and ourselves in it. In Ayurveda, three "components" of this balance in the human body are distinguished. They are known as the three doshas - Vata, Pita and Kapha. Each dosha includes both internal components (organs, parts of the body), and external - character, behavior, etc. The cause of the disease is the imbalance of these three components. In a normal state, all three doshas must be in an individual equilibrium for each person. The purpose of Ayurveda treatment is to achieve a balance of all three doshas in the body. It is this balance that allows the body to stay healthy and young for a long time.

Modern medicine is increasingly talking about the importance of preventing the development of the disease, and Ayurveda - that following simple rules and recommendations will prevent even the cause of the disease. After all, the human body is unique, it is able to independently regulate all its functions and independently maintain its health. But now the majority of people do not follow these rules (why - the question is quite complex and versatile, there is no sense to discuss it here), because of this, diseases appear.

Ancient sages have created unique programs for the purification and restoration of the organism Panchakarma and Kaya Kalpa. Panchakarma is well known and popular (The opposite side is that now it is very hard to find good specialists to get real Panchakarma even in India, mostly it is something like spa). As for Kaya Kalpa, then, of course, it is carried out in some clinics in India, but this is only a small, insignificant part of it, so to speak, "the tip of the iceberg." The real Kaya Kalpa is a very hard, complex and lengthy process that allows a complete rejuvenation of the body for 20-30 years and can be carried out by only a few people in India.

In the modern world, the popularity of Ayurveda only increases due to its holistic approach to the human body, nature and high spirituality. Today, according to the Ayurveda rules, millions of people around the world are building their lives, and more and more people are turning their attention to this science, seeking harmony and integrity in their lives.

Be healthy!
